Paracetamol 250 mg+Phenylephrine HCl 5 mg+Chlorpheniramine 2 mg Syrup – Paraset DS is made up of the three drugs named Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, and Chlorpheniramine that are used to treat the common cold, It is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat in kids.
Phenylephrine is an anxiolytic, chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine/anticonvulsant, and paracetamol is an analgesic. This drug works by blocking the production of certain chemicals in the brain known as prostaglandins that cause pain and migraine, providing relief from muscle congestion and reducing the production of excess fluid.
